Success in the swimming pool industry often comes down to two things: a willingness to learn and a commitment to excellence. Few exemplify this better than Keith Smith, this year’s Pentair Pool Pro Award winner and head of renovations at Heritage Pools of Charleston, SC. His story is not just one of career growth, but of passion, persistence, and the transformative power of education.Long Before the Pentair Pool Pro Award, Was a Humble BeginningBefore stepping into the pool industry, Smith was working as a line cook in a restaurant, making ends meet in an oversaturated market. While he enjoyed the work, it wasn’t financially sustainable, nor did it offer much room for growth. When his brother-in-law, a service tech at Heritage Pools, encouraged him to consider a career in pool construction, Smith was intrigued. The opportunity to work outdoors, take on new challenges, and build something meaningful appealed to him.He started with a trial run, working two days with the crew on a brand-new pool build. With no experience and wearing kitchen shoes, he was thrown into the deep end—digging trenches, getting covered in mud, and working harder than ever. But something clicked.“I made up my mind after that first day of work,” Smith recalls. “After a long, hard day and seeing how much I had accomplished with this team, I knew I wanted to stick with it.”Climbing the Ladder Through DedicationAfter transitioning to a full-time role, Smith quickly expanded his skill set. He worked in pool construction, maintenance, and service, finding that his meticulous attention to detail made him particularly suited for pool care and chemistry management. His natural curiosity led him to dive deeper into the renovations side of the business. Starting with smaller projects, such as liner replacements and tile work, he eventually moved on to full-scale pool

Jon Porter is a reporter with five years of experience covering consumer tech releases, EU tech policy, online platforms, and mechanical keyboards.Let’s jump straight to the chase: “Wordle” was Google’s most searched term globally in 2022. The stat was revealed as part of Google’s annual Year in Search report, which highlights the top trending search terms in both individual countries as well as globally. This year, Google is offering an even more granular look at searches in the USA with a new hub that lets you type in your city or ZIP code and see what people in your area specifically are searching for.As you might expect, the year’s top searches were dominated by terms relating to 2022’s big news events, with “Ukraine” and “Queen Elizabeth” both featuring in the top five. But there were also a surprising amount of searches for specifically Indian (and presumably cricket) sporting fixtures, with “India vs England,” “Ind vs SA,” and “India vs West Indies” all featuring in the top 10. Remember, these are global search rankings, which makes it all the more impressive that Indian-related searches are so highly represented.Another couple of interesting tidbits: Will Smith, Chris Rock, and Jada Pinkett Smith take up three of the five top five searches for actors after the events at the Oscars this year. And interestingly, when it comes to films, DC took two spots out of the top five (thanks to Black Adam and The Batman) compared to just one Marvel movie (Thor: Love and Thunder). That said, Thor still took the top spot. Also, shout out to the UK, where Google’s search data suggests people were absolutely obsessed with the Queen’s death, with “Is the Queen dead?” “When is the Queen’s funeral?” and “Where will the Queen be buried?” making up three of the top five most Googled questions. In case you’re interested, “How old is Diana Ross?” came in fifth, presumably after the ex-Supremes singer performed at both Glastonbury and the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations (she’s 78, in case you were wondering). Anyway, I thoroughly recommend having a poke around the results, both globally as well as locally in the US. If nothing else, it’s a fun reminder of the frankly obscene amount of stuff that’s happened in 2022, which I feel confident in dubbing the longest year that has ever existed.. 18-Jan-2025 : 101.1M: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_archive.torrent: 18-Jan-2025 : 5.9K: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_files.xml: 18-Jan-2025 : 1.6K: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_meta.sqlite: 18-Jan-2025 : 20.0K: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_meta 18-Jan-2025 : 101.1M: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_archive.torrent: 18-Jan-2025 : 5.9K: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_files.xml: 18-Jan-2025 : 1.6K: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_meta.sqlite: 18-Jan-2025 : 20.0K: tech-smith-snagit-13.1.2-build- final-keygen_meta
