Even though I was previously able to login to my Pandora account through my Verizon Fios TV "widget" for Pandora, it will now not accept my password. I have set a new account password using my computer, but neither my old or new passwords are accepted using the TV app for Pandora. Also, my iPhone Pandora app appears to have a different password for login, but since I cant see the characters in settings, I can't set a new password, and not sure I want to lest I create another login problem. In a nutshell, I have multiple devices accessing my Pandora account with different passwords, or not able to access using one of those passwords. Is there a way to create one password that works across all devices, or is there another soloution? Also, If anyone knows the trick to get the Fios TV app to accept my Pandora password, I would appreciate knbowing that too.Moderator edit: edited title for clarity. This will let you get into the Automatic Repair mode but since your drive is still encrypted, almost all actions will fail. For example, trying to Reset the PC will display this following message:There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made. So, what can we do?Well, obviously we must unlock the drive, but to do this we need to be in command prompt. To the Command Prompt!Click Advanced optionsClick Command PromptWe are almost done! Before we can type in the unlock command, we need to know what drive volume we are wanting to unlock. In command prompt, type inmanage-bde -statusSomewhere in the print out from this command you should see “BitLocker Drive Encryption: Volume”. In my case, I have “Volume D:”.Now it is time to unlock! In command prompt, type inmanage-bde -unlock D: -pwBasically, this says we want to unlock volume D: and use our BitLocker password. There are other options for unlocking such as recovery key, but since we already entered the password once to get here, we know the password is correct. The password should not be our issue. At this point, we should see in command prompt:Enter the password to unlock this volume:Enter your password and hit enter. Once completed and successful you will see the following message:The password successfully unlocked volume D: .That is it! your drive is now unlocked and you can continue troubleshooting and repairing PC. Anyways, I hope this helps you get further to fixing your PC. Good Luck!PS: Oddly, resetting my CMOS was my solution…. No, password history is not available in offline mode. However I can't seem to find an option to set a master password for this. Instructions on web say it is under Meu/Settings/Preferences (advanced)/Security, but I don't see it in settings/security and privacy and see no Preferences tab. sgunhouse Moderator Volunteer last edited by The information you were reading is about Opera 12. More recent versions of Opera rely on your system to prevent other people from accessing it. dogday last edited by If someone has physical access to my computer they can access all my passwords. Seems like a step back sgunhouse Moderator Volunteer last edited by They can access your websites, they can't actually see your passwords. But don't you have a password on your user account? dogday last edited by Seems to me anyone with access to my computer can open Opera settings and see my passwords. Also I am only now discovering, or so it seems, there doesn't appear to be any way to back up Opera settings (ie. save the profile so I can retain my passwords, bookmarks etc in case my file system fails or drive failure. These were options on Opera but they have unfortunately chosen to remove them. dogday last edited by How do I put a password on my account? Sorry I didn't notice that part until now sgunhouse Moderator Volunteer last edited by I was talking about in Linux... Opera does not show passwords without the user having to enter his system passwordBacking up your profile is no different from backing up any other folder; see About Opera for the location. dogday last edited by My understanding is that backing up profile will not work if you try and install it on a new OS install which would be the case if my SSD failed and I had to replace it. Also my Linux Account password would be of limited use to keep someone out. As I said if they had access to my PC it would be trivial to access my account as instructions to reset linux account passwords are on the web. I was really looking for a master password in the hope that wouldn't happen. If I am not mistaken past versions of Opera allowed backups and also master passwords. I am not sure at this point if Opera will work for me although I like the interface.Comments
