Thunril last edited by Can you update for OperaGX? Currently not working McSqueezy 0 last edited by Hello. I've used opera for a long time before on my old pc, and then everything with "install chrome extensions" was fine. Then, when I got new pc, I installed opera, and then opera gx (when it came out). In first months chrome extensions were installing normally, but recently I tried to download PreMiD addon, so I clicked "add to opera" button, it took me to extensions page, but then nothing showed up. I tried reinstalling opera gx aswell as opera (it's not working on regular opera too), but nothing happened either. And it comes to every chrome extension, not PreMid only. Any solutions? leocg Moderator Volunteer @McSqueezy 0 last edited by @McSqueezy-0 I've checked here and everything ran fine. overdue @leocg last edited by @leocg: Everything is ok now. Opera has launched a new 'gaming browser' where people can find their entire gaming fix in one place. Opera GX browser is free to download for Windows. Opera GX comes with a nifty feature which would help power users. The gaming browser lets users toggle their PC's RAM and CPU usage. Opera GX comes with a RAM Limiter and CPU Limiter for the browser. This feature is available on the left bar with shortcuts. Just below this is the shortcut for Twitch. Twitch users can check out which channels are live and also receive notifications once a new stream starts. More shortcuts available here include browser history, extensions and settings. Opera GX supports in-house extensions and Chrome extensions as well. Like the parent browser, Opera GX also comes with shortcuts for Messenger, WhatsApp and Telegram on the side bar. On the home page of Opera GX, users will be greeted with a section called 'GX Corner' where the upcoming and popular games are featured. Tapping on these games will take direct the user to its official website. Right now, the GX Corner features games like Wolfenstein, Forza Horizon 4, Blood and Truth, Tomb Raider and more. There's also a daily news section where the browser shows news stories from popular gaming portals like IGN and Gaming Central. Opera GX also shows entertainment and technology news. Opera GX can also be customized with sound effects, colours and themes. Users can also add wallpapers or set their desktop wallpaper as the browser'sHow To Import Settings From Chrome To Opera GX

Tear4Pixelation @ThatDutch64 last edited by @thatdutch64 Yeah I am as well on Kubuntu Zlad last edited by Opera has done some interesting things in the past but at this point it feels like they are ok with always taking a backseat view and staying second place to other browsers, even some of the Chrome spinoffs that aren't Edge. They had Opera Neon, that April fool's retro browser skit, and they have Opera GX. Not 1 of which is available on Linux even though their base opera browser is, and despite showing the clear capabilities of making such amazing things a reality they seem intent on making nothing more than unmaintained glorified proof of concept projects and a so-so Chrome spinoff, there was even a time they weren't based on Chrome and that time has passed...Eh, if Linux support of all things isn't in the picture I guess this might be a lost cause. As well when I'm moving, as I really can use it as a mini laptop for Linux. And yeah, one of the first web browsers I looked for was Opera GX... So +1 for Opera GX here!!! VidimusWolf last edited by No support for Linux... Disappointing, but I hope they are working on it! Will keep using Chrome for now. Thing is, my personal PC runs on Windows, but unless I can migrate to a single browser for all my devices, my work laptop included (running Linux), then I just can't justify migrating to Opera GX. Or at least it wasn't, I haven't checked if things have changed but before you would have to build Chromium with hardware acceleration enabled. As to the ads, the browser would require to have an ad blocker automatically built in.But yeah, I've been pretty busy with work. I haven't checked out Firefox GX, but those Firefox-gx guys should add my suggestions if they haven't already. illogicalfallacy last edited by This post is deleted! How to Import Extensions from Chrome to Opera GX
Last edited by I've been using Opera GX for over a year. Recently, I noticed that my selected color themes no longer display properly. The menus seem to display the color theme correctly, but the Opera GX window and tabs do not. Additionally, I am unable to install new themes from the Chrome store (which I used to be able to do in Opera GX). Now, when I attempt to install any theme from that store, I see an error message stating "Download Error: invalid manifest." I tried resetting my Opera GX browser to its original settings, and that didn't help. I then even tried uninstalling/deleting the app, then reinstalling the latest version. Same issues still persist. For some context, I'm using a 2019 iMac (intel chip), which is currently running Sonoma 14.4.1. Here's a screenshot showing the theme issue - as you can see, the menu on the right is displaying the correct theme, whereas the main Opera window is not..
