In. c. Review the system logs. 4: Troubleshooting installation errors and warnings Identifying InfoSphere MDM installation problemsInfoSphere MDM installation failures are often identified by an error message that appears during the installation of the application. If you are using IBM Installation Manager to install InfoSphere MDM, then an installation failure will result in a complete rollback to remove the failed installation. In this case, an Installation Manager popup message appears during the installation of InfoSphere MDM. After the installation user acknowledges the message, Installation Manager will perform a full installation rollback, during which it will uninstall whatever parts of the application were installed before the problem occurred. Diagnosing installation problems using log files After you identify that an installation attempt was unsuccessful, it is important to find out the exact reason for the problem. Log files are an important tool to help diagnose these issues. The following log files are created during an InfoSphere MDM installation and can provide critical information in the search for a problem: Installation Manager log files madconfig command line tool log files WebSphere Application Server log files When an installation fails, the recommended starting point to diagnose the problem is to look at the IBM Installation Manager log files. Correcting errors and warnings from the Installation Manager log files The Installation Manager log files are usually located in the $HOME/var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs folder. Installation Manager Logs are stored in a hierarchy with the following file as the entry point: $HOME/var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs/index.xml. Use a browser to view the Installation Manager logs. 1. Copy the $HOME/var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs folder to a local desktop. 2. Open $HOME/var/ibm/InstallationManager/logs/index.xml using a browser. 3. Scroll down in the file until you see blue links. Each link represents a step in the InfoSphere MDM installation process. Home / Blog / Blog / Send e-Mail Notification When Someone Downloads Some users asked me how to Add Mail Notification When Someone Downloads and actually it is pretty easy. WordPress Download Manager has an action hook “before_download” , if you attach any function with that hook and write email notification code inside the functional that will work perfectly. Here is the example code: function download_notification($package){ $package_data = get_post($package['ID']); $headers = 'From: Site Name ' . "\r\n"; $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html' . "\r\n"; $message = "Downloader's IP: ". $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; wp_mail(get_option("admin_email"), "Download Notification: ".$package_data->post_title, $message, $headers); } add_action("before_download", "download_notification"); Simply add the above code block at the end of your theme functions.php. Here get_option("admin_email") will take the site admin email address, but you can replace it with any email address like wp_mail("[email protected]", "Download Notification: ".$package_data->post_title, $message, $headers); Tags : download managerdownload notificationemail notificationfile manager About the Editorial Staff Editorial Staff at WordPress Download Manager is a team of WordPress experts, is here to explain you all about the WordPress and WordPress Download Manager.

An Accepted Solution is available for this post. I have tethered with USB and Bluetooth connection using VZAccess Manager for several years using my Pearl 8130 and I just switch to the Tour and the tethering no longer works. VZAccess Manager hangs up when connecting to the phone with "Initializing..." displayed and the phone gets the "Modem mode" message but it does not connect to the Internet and I eventually have to kill VZAccess Manager because it never gets an error message but just keeps hanging on the initializing message. Anything any one could think of that I must do separately for the Tour? I pared it via Bluetooth successfully and also used a USB for direct connection to my XP workstation.
