With one click, they'll have access to features like Points balance, Points and comments, and more!Setting up Recaps is easy!Here are some of our favorite resources for introducing Recaps to your community:How To Enable Recap Delivery for Your SchoolEnable Automatic Recap DeliveryRecaps are only delivered via email when a LiveSchool Admin enables them in your school's settings.Once you've enabled Recaps delivery, any parents with LiveSchool accounts will receive a courtesy email notifying them that Recaps will start delivering going forward.How to Manage Recaps for Your SchoolDisable Recap DeliveryOnce you've enabled Recaps at your school, your LiveSchool Admin can disable Recap delivery at any time. Use this to pause over holiday breaks, or turn off Recaps at the end of your school year.Students and parents are not notified when Recaps delivery is disabled.When you turn off Recaps delivery, students and parents can no longer use previous Recap email Magic Links to view their Recaps. When they click an existing Recap email link, they are shown the following:Change Delivery DayLiveSchool Admin can change the delivery day of your school's Recaps at any time. Cold Call StudentsMany teachers use LiveSchool to select a random student to cold-call for a question. The student can earn a point right away for participation, and it keeps the momentum positive in the classroom.3. Fundraise From Local BusinessesWe’ve taken money from a local hospital who has “adopted” our school. They give us $1,500 per year. That helps us pay for incentives that get our students extremely motivated.4. Trivia Question of the DayEach day, we read an academic trivia question on the loudspeaker. Students submit their answers to a box in the cafeteria at lunch. The next day, we pick a name and announce them over the loudspeaker - they get a 50 point bonus!5. Incentivize Parent ParticipationWe were having a challenge with getting parents out to back to school night, so we offered a LiveSchool points bonus for parents attending. It had a big impact on parents coming out because the students were nagging them to get to school!6. Students as CheerleadersStudents were the biggest cheerleaders for us to get all our teachers using the system.
