Hi Running windows 10. icloud downloaded. Download wont install. Install gets three quarters of the way and then stops icloud wont launch windows 10 I have installed iCloud on my new windows 10 desktop, but it won’t launch. iCloud shows on my app list, but when I open it, it shows on the

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. icloud for windows will not integrate with Outlook after upgrading from Windows 7 and Office 365 to Windows 10 and Office 365. Upon attempting to set icloud to sync with Outlook and hitting Apply, I get the message: "iCloud for Windows did not install properly. To repair it, you need to go to Apps and features, select iCloud Outlook from the app list and click Modify. When prompted, click on Repair." Following those instructions does not change anything. I have uninstalled/reinstalled all my apple products with no effect. I have checked for corrupt system files and there is nothing wrong there. There is a handy button to report the problem to Apple, but all that does is create an email of the technical aspects with no address to send it to. I solved it by unchecking Auto Authorization AND moving the installation folder to NOT be the two Program Files folders. For some reason, when trying to download something to the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folders in windows 11, you need to give it permission. There must be some protection scheme or something for those folders. Doesn't come up if you make a folder outside of windows or the program files folders. Once the IK Manager can start by using a non-protected folder, it can then install to the windows or program files folders.
