F MariboJun 2, 2024simply inverts colors of the entire page which means any graphics will have their colors inverted, reading graphs showing color representations? unreadable. showing graphical designs? broken, sharing artwork? broken. want an emoji in your text? broken. As others have pointed out, Google did not create Blackle. Blackle is just an attempt to make money by luring credulous people who've been taken in by an urban legend. Google says that not only does having a black background not save energy, black may actually increase energy usage.
