The problem some people run into is of their own making; not actually looking at what they're dragging over to their FO3 directory.You're right though, it's not really something to 'fix' per say nor is Dracomies obliged to change anything in the RAR. When this happened to me I didn't think it was much of a big deal and easily sorted it out. However I've noticed a few people post about this a number of times who don't figure out what the problem is on their own.Maybe just a big bold sentence is needed to be added somewhere on the front page saying "STOP SAYING IT'S BROKEN. YOU NEED TO PLACE THE PLUGGIN FILES IN YOUR DATA FOLDER TOGETHER WITH THE MESHES AND TEXTURES. DON'T JUST DRAG EVERYTHING OVER TO YOUR FO3 DIRECTORY". Play another start, exit the game first. DO NOT start a new game by simply exiting to main menu, or script stuff might be broken. I recommend using No Exit to Main Menu or MAPMO to prevent you from ever doing so.Compatibilities:This is obviously incompatible with any mod that also alters how the game start. Basically just putting this here as a personal TODO, it's something I want to add.TL;DRSeeing as we show a warning for form version 43 plugins on SSE, for localized plugins without strings files, mods or saves with an invalid version, etc., I think we should show one for mismatched BSA versions on boot/refresh as well.DetailsBSAs have a version field, with each game (except Morrowind) having one specific version that they are compatible with. They generally indicate a major change in the BSA format (e.g. FO3 introduces embedded filenames, SSE uses lz4 and has 64-bit offsets, etc.). Find a preferable solution in using Wrye Bash to create a Bashed Patch. The "Import Faces" function will resolve most conflicts with Redesigned. Users of our HD Edition should use the "Import Races" function as well.BODY MODSThe Standard Edition will work with most body mods, because it pretty much only changes faces. It should work with Dimonized Type 3, Malos, Type V, etc. But it will not work with other face mods, such as Josef Grey's makeup textures, Dimonized faces or Fallout Character Overhaul. The HD Edition's body skin textures will likely conflict/overwrite body mods' textures, so body mod users are advised to stick to the Standard Edition.FEEDBACKI am no longer doing designs for FO3, but SpaceOden is still maintaining the mod.
