Add bookmark #1 I'm running Win2k on my Dell PII-350. It has an Iomega ATAPI ZIP-100 drive. For some reason, the drive is being write-cached. If I save a large file to it, it'll write only some data, once a second, just like my hard drive. Even if I tell the disk to eject, I need to wait up to ten seconds for the damn thing to finish writing.In the Disk Properties for the drive, not only is write caching listed as disabled, but it's grayed out; I couldn't turn it on, even if I wanted to. Also, under Win98, the drive doesn't write-cache at all; it writes immediately, and ejects ASAP.Any ideas? Iomega's Web site is no help; neither is Dell, nor Google. Thanks.
