Can anyone suggest what what the problem might be as KeyCue works fine in my other apps? As you can guess, KeyCue would be very handy while getting to know DP Chris MacBook Pro 2.5Ghz Intel Core i5 4GB RAM, Mac OS X 10.9.1, Apogee Duet Firewire, Yamaha S90, Digital Performer 8.0.5, Finale 2012c, Cubase 7, Logic Pro X, NI Komplete 9, HALion 5 bayswater Posts: 12450 Joined: Fri Feb 16, 2007 9:06 pm Primary DAW OS: MacOS Location: Vancouver Re: Problem with KeyCue and DP 8 Post by bayswater » Sun May 19, 2013 10:22 am I can't solve this specific problem, but I did try KeyCue with DP 7 some time ago. It showed all the shortcuts that appear in the menus, but didn't help that much. DP has hundreds, if not thousands of keyboard shortcuts, almost all customizable, and most of these are not in the menus and so would not show up in KeyCue. It will be useful to open up the Command window that shows all of them using Shift-L and assign your frequently used functions to key commands you find convenient. 2018 Mini i7 32G macOS 12.7.6, DP 11.33, Mixbus 10, Logic 10.7.9, Scarlett 18i8, MB Air M2, macOS 14.7.6, DP 11.33, Logic 11 ChrisByrd Posts: 142 Joined: Thu May 09, 2013 8:17 am Primary DAW OS: MacOS Location: Fife, Scotland Re: Problem with KeyCue and DP 8 Post by ChrisByrd » Sun May 19, 2013 1:10 pm Thanks, I've just come across the Commands Window and it is indeed a great help. Input source stuck on "any" Post by bayswater » Mon Oct 30, 2023 9:40 pm Sorry if this has been mentioned. When I tried Lite I noticed a few things like this, mentioned in the manual, but don’t actually exist in the app. One of them was the inability to save templates. But as with DP, you can always save a project that is set up with all the options you would want built into a template, and then use the Finder to change the saved file as Stationary. Depending on what you save with that file, this is a workaround for a few of the mysterious missing features. When you open the stationary file, you will be prompted to save the project, and the template/stationary copy with be kept as is. 2018 Mini i7 32G macOS 12.7.6, DP 11.33, Mixbus 10, Logic 10.7.9, Scarlett 18i8, MB Air M2, macOS 14.7.6, DP 11.33, Logic 11 Return to “Digital Performer [MacOS]: Troubleshooting/Criticism” Jump to MOTUNATION Main Forums ↳ Digital Performer [MacOS]: Usage, Techniques, Tips & Optimization ↳ Digital Performer [Windows]: Usage, Techniques, Tips & Optimization ↳ Digital Performer [MacOS]: Troubleshooting/Criticism ↳ Digital Performer [Windows]: Troubleshooting/Criticism ↳ Digital Performer: Film/Video Scoring & Post Production ↳ MOTU Hardware & MacOS ↳ MOTU Hardware & Windows ↳ Digital Performer: Tutorial Videos ↳ Digital Performer: User Showcase ↳ General Recording ↳ General Macintosh ↳ Music Business ↳ MOTU Theoretical Discussions, Gripes, Petitions & Off Topic ↳ Composing, Orchestrating, Songwriting, etc. ↳ Unisyn MOTU Virtual Instruments ↳ MachFive ↳ MX4 ↳ Symphonic Instrument ↳ Ethno ↳ Ethno (OSX) ↳ Ethno (Windows) ↳ Electric Keys ↳ Electric Keys (OSX) ↳ Electric Keys (Windows) ↳ BPM ↳ BPM (OSX) ↳ BPM (Windows) ↳ BPM (General Chat) ↳ BPM (Rants, Gripes).
