The Cataclysm Classic PTR will Open Soon - Cataclysm Classic

After a short delay from its initial January 2025 release, Cataclysm Classic Phase 4 is now live and later this week on Thursday, February 20 at 3PM pacific time, the Dragon Soul raid will launch worldwide. The rest of Cataclysm Classic Phase 4 is full of interconnected content that narratively wraps up the Cataclysm story and gives players more activities to complete.Let’s take a look at everything coming in Phase 4.What is in Cataclysm Classic Phase 4?February 18 — 3 level 85 Heroic 5-player dungeonsEnd TimeWell of EternityHour of TwilightFebruary 20 — Dragon Soul raidNormal Difficulty: 10 and 25 playerHeroic Difficulty: 10 and 25 playerLegendary Fangs of the Father dagger set for RoguesGolad, Twilight of the AspectsTiriosh, Nightmare of AgesFebruary 25 — Alizabal, new Tol Barad boss and PVP Season 11Three new level 85 heroic 5-player dungeons will be available for players to experience, with each one setting the stage for the phase finale: the End Time, which shows players what will happen if Deathwing isn’t stopped, the Well of Eternity, which sends players far into the past to retrieve the Dragon Soul artifact and finally, the Hour of Twilight, which tasks you with escorting Thrall to Wyrmrest Temple to face Deathwing. There will also be a new Elemental Rune Dungeon type, Protocol Twilight, available that includes all Cataclysm Classic dungeons except Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub.Dragon Soul raid narratively picks up here and will have 8 bosses, including a final showdown with Deathwing, with 10 and 25 player options for Normal and Heroic difficulties. Rogues will be able to start a questline to acquire the Legendary Fangs of the Father dagger set which includes Golad, Twilight of the Aspects and Tiriosh, Nightmare of Ages. To get started, you need pick up the Proving Your Worth quest from Lord Devrestrasz at Wyrmrest

The Cataclysm Classic PTR is now Open - Cataclysm Classic

Tuesday always means maintenance day for World of Warcraft fans, but today is a big one because The War Within patch 11.1 is rolling out. The first major patch of an expansion is always an exciting one, and this one is more so because we’re headed to Undermine, home of the Goblins. It’s a place we’ve heard about before, but this is our first chance to explore it — and, hopefully, liberate it from the rule of Gallywix in the Liberation of Undermine raid opening next week. But all of this excitement does make for a long maintenance.Today The War Within servers will be down for a full eight hours, while the WoW Classic realms will only have a quick one hour maintenance. Here’s the exact times for today’s maintenance:The War Within servers will be offline from 7am – 3pm pacific (10am – 6pm eastern)WoW Classic servers (including Classic Era, Cataclysm Classic, Season of Discovery, Anniversary, and Hardcore) will be offline from 7am – 8am pacific (10am – 11am eastern)All WoW servers are back online, as scheduled, though I can report some stability problems. Blizzard says the authentication servers are having problems, so you may have trouble getting online (and it’s up in the air whether you’ll stay online if you do). As always, expect some UI issues post-patch and be sure to update your addons before logging on (and be prepared to turn them off if they don’t work).While Classic players will be more or less free to go about their gaming as normal, players on modern realms will have to find a way to kill most of the day, but fortunately the servers came back online on time, without any extra delays. Was announced at Warcraft Direct, World of Warcraft fans found both mounts on the Cataclysm Classic PTR, leading many to speculate that they would be included in the Mists of Pandaria Upgrade packs. Four months later, those theories have officially been proven true. The fine print for these new upgrades also narrowed the release window for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic. According to the store page, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic will launch no later than August 31, with the Pre-Patch event taking place on or before July 31. While these dates could still technically change, it seems like players will be able to head to Pandaria in WoW Classic in no more than a half of a year.
