Chromecast support was added in version 3.0, and it’s still in beta even though it’s now up to version 3.0.6.The other thing to bear in mind is that the Chromecast and your PC or laptop must be connected to the same network, but it doesn’t matter if one is via Wi-Fi and the other Ethernet.
