Tap Resolve and follow the on-screen instructions to resolve any issues found. When Web Shield is enabled, Avast Mobile Security helps block fake websites that are trying to trick you by impersonating legitimate sites. A local VPN (Virtual Private Network) is required to enable this feature. To enable Web Shield:Tap the Avast Mobile Security icon on the Home screen of your device. The app opens. Under Your browsing is not secured/Web Protection is Off, tap Turn on. Tap Next twice, then tap Enable. If prompted, tap Allow to add VPN Configurations. Web Shield is now enabled.To disable Web Shield, tap More info, then tap Turn off Web Shield.Enable VPN Secure ConnectionVPN Secure Connection (previously called Wi-Fi Protection) uses our VPN (Virtual Private Network) infrastructure to create an encrypted and private VPN connection. Click Scan network. If you have a VPN enabled, you will not be able to scan the network. Optionally, click the toggle in the Monitor this network panel so it turns from gray (OFF) to green (ON). Network Inspector now scans all connected devices and notifies you as soon as a new device joins your private network.To disable Scan all devices or Monitor this network, click the toggle in the relevant panel so it turns from green (ON) to gray (OFF).Manage settingsTo modify your settings:Open Avast Antivirus and go to Protection ▸ Network Inspector.
