APM TERMPoint Appointments - APM Terminals

Dear Customer,Unfortunately, APM Terminals Elizabeth is still experiencing empty container return appointment hoarding. Often, the terminal maxes out of empty return appointments which causes TERMPoint to show none available, however, when the terminal closes, we only receive 54% of what was actually booked. We encourage all TERMPoint users to only book what is needed, per day, and to ensure they are cancelling empty return appointments within a respectable time frame per appointment window in order to allow other uses to secure. If everyone follows this method there will always be empty return appointments available. Example:A Trucking Company books 10 x MSK 4HC Empty Returns in the 0600-0900 appointment window. At 08:30, the Trucking Company realizes they will only use 5 of these appointments by 1000, so they cancel them. Now other truckers who may need them last minute can access these 5 x appointments. To stop appointment hoarding, the terminal had to apply empty return appointment caps to the Top 25 Trucking Companies that hoard/waste the most empty return appointments daily. This cap is determined by the amount of empty appointments the trucking company actually returned daily over the past 60 days, plus a 30% buffer to assist. We encourage any capped trucking companies to contact the terminal for further details and discussion. We hope to see a decrease in the gap between actual empties returned compared to empty return appointments booked. We fully understand the current business dynamic and want to ensure that APM Terminals is offering as many appointments possible each day. We appreciate everyone's assistance. Best regards,APM Terminals Port Elizabeth

APM Terminals - TERMPoint Appointment System

Starting Mon. 6/27, APM Terminals Elizabeth will introduce the following modifications to TERMPoint – our truck appointment system. These updates will allow the terminal to further strategize and plan more effectively which will directly enhance the terminal user experience via the number of appointments and windows available in TERMPoint and the truck driver’s experience during their terminal visit.Daily appointment windows will increase from four (4) to six (6) windows which will add flexibility. Daily appointment windows will move to two (2) hour windows from three (3) hours, except for the last window which will be one (1) hour. The tolerance window will be 30 min. on the front and back of each appointment window, except for the first and last appointment window which will remain current*. Please note merging of appointments will still need to be made within the appointment window NOT after as it is today. You are still able to use confirmed appointments 30 min before a confirmed window starts.Example: Truck drivers can access a confirmed 8AM-10AM appointment as early as 7:30AM and as late as 10:30AM.New Appointment Windows and Tolerances: 06:00AM to 08:00AM access until 8:30AM (*no 30 min tolerance before 6AM) 08:00AM to 10:00AM access 07:30AM until 10:30AM 10:00AM to 12:00PM access 09:30AM until 12:30PM 12:00PM to 2:00PM access 11:30AM until 2:30PM 2:00PM to 4:00PM access 1:30PM until 4:30PM 4:00PM to 5:00PM access 3:30PM until 5:00PM (*no 30 min tolerance after 5PM)Empty drop off appointments will be available consistently at 9AM daily for the next day regardless of receiving policy. This means if empty plans are changing the next business day, TERMPoint users will no longer have to wait until the gate closes at 5PM like they do currently. TERMPoint users will still be allowed to create generic Empty drop off appointments to secure slots in advance, however, the empty container number will be required one (1) hour before the appointment window beings (at the latest) or it will automatically be cancelled and put back into the available pool for other users to secure. Reference below for guidance. 06:00AM to 08:00AM enter container number by 5:00AM 08:00AM to 10:00AM enter container number by 7:00AM 10:00AM to 12:00PM enter container number by 9:00AM 12:00PM to 2:00PM enter container number by 11:00AM 2:00PM to 4:00PM enter container number by 1:00PM 4:00PM to 5:00PM enter container number by 3:00PM

Raygun website to install and run the Agent. If your application runs on Heroku, you can use the heroku-buildpack-raygun-apm which will run an agent on your web dynos automatically.UsageProfiling web server requestsraygun-apm can profile requests to node http and https servers. To enable request level profiling, add this require statement at the start of your main js file.require('raygun-apm/http');You can also use import if you are using TypeScript or Babel.import 'raygun-apm/http';raygun-apm also ships with a cross platform helper script called with-raygun-apm that will configure Node to load raygun-apm/http at startup. This can be helpful if you're working with a framework that launches your app for you.On the command line:node_modules/.bin/with-raygun-apm node index.jsOr in a package.json script:"scripts": { "start": "with-raygun-apm node index.js"},The HTTP/HTTPS request profiling support works by wrapping around the node standard library http/https modules, which also means that it works out of the box with express, koa, hapi, sails, adonis, loopback, micro and most node http frameworks. Here is an example of a simple app that uses express and node-pg:import 'raygun-apm/http';import express from 'express';import {Client} from 'pg';const app = express();const client = new Client()client.connect()app.get('/', (req, res) => { client.query("SELECT * FROM test_data", [], (err, pgRes) => { res.send(JSON.stringify(pgRes.rows)); });});app.listen(3030, 'localhost', () => console.log('listening on 3030'));Capturing database queriesraygun-apm supports automatically capturing database queries from these adapters:pgmysqlmysql2mssqlmongodbredisioredis@elasticsearch/elasticmemcachedsequelize (when used with a supported adapter)raygun-apm will also capture incoming GraphQL queries and include them in the trace. This should work with most GraphQL servers using the official graphql package. GraphQL support has been tested and confirmed to work with:Apollo (apollo-server-express)express-graphqlrequire-in-the-middle is used to wrap around these libraries when they are imported. This is necessary to detect when queries start and end, and in some cases to wrap processing of the results of a query in an asynchronous context that's associated with the original request. When installing raygun-apm, if npm.
