I'm sorry if you need also a classic gr meter in this product. It is not meant to implement a classic meter, but in the future we could implement an additional vu-meter displaying a digital value with an option.For the sake of knowledge, I have a version of nebula program displaying the exact reduction between input and output (the very first release of the program: we get it automatically from a template and it is always correct), but it was not matching the hardware behaviour. We used it in very early stages, but when we compared with the hardware values were completely off, and it was not possible to compare things properly.So we changed the setting and we started alphatesting that way. It was also easier for luca and greg, they could match the hardware behaviour in a better way with the same needle settings. This is also the reason why the meter is so much slow. So no, I don't think it's Voodo at all, but it is a great smooth sounding compressor with the Analog tone that Acustica plugins immediately bring to the table unlike any other plugins.And if you want to have that exact sound without loading a combination of two things,then you want to get El Rey.I just think Gold 2 is better value for money. Just my opinion. Hope I don't "need a hug" like someone who wasn't convinced of the magical powers of the plugin was told.It's a really good plugin, but it really is not magic.
