The SEGGER emPower eval board comes with a pre-loaded software package for evaluation and demonstration of our middleware components. SEGGER eval packages are designed to provide customers with a complete and easy to use software package. On power up the SEGGER Demo is running on the LCD, which shows some features of emWin, SEGGER's controller-independent graphical user interface (GUI). If the emPower eval board is connected via Ethernet, it can be accessed with a VNC Client. The emWeb Webserver is also part of the SEGGER Demo. Connect to emPower with any browser. There are no technical limitations with the free licenses.The major point is: Without a paid license you may not use Embedded Studio for commercial development.We encourage hobbyists and students to start development of embedded systems. To start with Embedded Studio is therefore kept simple. You can directly download and install it without registration.We do not want to spoil the educational use of Embedded Studio with some arbitrary limits, such as 30 days trial or 32k size limit. Embedded Studio can fully be used for non-commercial and educational purposes.When you want to use Embedded Studio for commercial development, i.e. get paid or earn any money with what you develop, you need to get a commercial license.Once the license is activated, you can use any Embedded Studio released within your support and upgrade period (typically 1 year) for as long as you want to (even after that year).When a commercial license is found you do not get the license pop up anymore. Monitor mode debugging describes the capability of the CPU to maintain essential functionality while being debugged. This is particularly important when hardware such as a motor has to keep running, or communication links have to stay connected.The default debug mode for most common CPUs is "halt-mode debugging" where the CPU halts on a debug request, causing the user application and, depending on the CPU, also peripherals to stop execution.However, for certain applications and environments it may be necessary that parts of the user application continue execution while the CPU is in debug mode and the user is debugging another part of the application.This is where the new feature monitor mode debugging provides essential improvement.Whether monitor mode debugging can be supported for a specific device depends on whether the CPU architecture defines monitor mode support or not. I am not using SES to build only to to debug an externally generated .elf file.There is this from the manual:The Registers window shows the set of register groups defined in the memory-map file the application was built with. If there is no memory-map file associated with a project, the Registers window will show only the CPU registers.This described what I am seeing but where do I find a memory-map file and how do I associated with my project?
