Can view the entire track just fine in mapsource/basecamp. What I would like to do is actually playback the track and view details such as speed/elevation during playback. I have downloaded a GPX file to my PC. Now to view it and move to my Garmin I am lost as to which app to use. I assume send to the Garmin SD card since will use a lot of storage? The specific file is the Upper Peninsula Adventure Trail for big bikes put together by cannonshot. Really would like to get it into my Garmin 660. Thanks ahead of time. I use Basecamp for planning, but I don't particularly like it as a viewer of GPX files. And I don't always want every GPX file I get from some source to be in my base camp database. So I use mMapsource for that. On Windows 7 and Windows 10 I set mapsource as the default application for files having a .GPX extension so when I click on them mapsource opens them. If I like it and want to incorporate it in a trip I'm planning, then I will import it into basecamp. I use two ways to get GPX files onto my 660. If it's in Basecamp then I just drag it's list folder to the SD card. Otherwise I plug the 660 into my PC and then use Windows Explorer to do the same thing, drag the .GPX file onto the SD card. I installed or attempted to install Mapsource and when the drivers were to be prompted to install I got a warning from my Windows defender that publisher of the software for the drivers is not a trusted source. I chose to not install. So now I see Mapsource is installed when I open app I cannot figure what to do to open GPX file I have in the download file. The download was March 2018 version
