The predictive tools include all tools in the predictive category. The default installation of Alteryx Designer does not include all predictive tools. To install the entire set of predictive tools, you must download and install the predictive tools separately from Alteryx Designer. You must first download and install Alteryx Designer before downloading the predictive tools. Admin vs. non-admin installation Options for installation include admin and non-admin. Generally, the admin installation applies to all users on a machine while the non-admin installation does not. If you are using the admin version of Alteryx Designer, you will need the admin installation of the predictive tools. If you are using the non-admin version of Alteryx Designer, you will need the non-admin installation of the predictive tools. See Alteryx Product Activation and Licensing Help. Download predictive tools Download the predictive tools from the Alteryx Downloads and Licenses portal. To do this: Sign in to the Alteryx Downloads and Licenses portal at licenses.alteryx.com. In the Product Downloads area, click Alteryx Designer. In the Download Products window, click Alteryx Designer. In Downloads, select either Alteryx Predictive Tools (Admin version) or Non-Admin Alteryx Predictive Tools. You can also select select Other Predictive Tools - Microsoft Machine Learning Server or Other Predictive Tools - Microsoft R Client. Click the link for the product to download the file. Alteryx downloads the file to the default download folder for your machine. Sound's like you'll want to use either the Download Tool or the Python Tool.A lot really depends on the External Site you are downloading the file from.What sort of API connections does the Web site have available? For example, I'm doing some work with Survey Monkey:While I'm able to manually navigate to the web page and download a .xlsx file containing my desired output data, trying to do this with Alteryx isn't very simple.Alteryx is not an RPA software. (Google RPA for more information) Therefore, Alteryx can not replicate the manual navigation process to download the .xlsx file. Instead, I have to use the API endpoints made available by Survey Monkey. This means I must download multiple tables that make up the spreadsheet and use Alteryx to join/merge the tables together to formulate the same output that is readily available through a manual download process. (Multiple Table required multiple API calls, which I made using Python) its a semi public external site, could you mention the name here? I might be able to take a peak at the API Documentation to point you in the right direction.

I've been using Alteryx as a data integration/data blending tool. We've also used Alteryx to help build out our Amazon Redshift data warehouse, which will allow us to more easily scale when we need to. We wanted to allow for citizen data scientists.
